Planting Festival

We have everything ready, one more year, to experience a family day at Mas de la Cuixota at the Restaurant l’Estany Casa de Fusta. A day to remember our ancestors and pay tribute to the effort and dedication of the groups of planters who, in the past, planted rice by hand in all corners of the Ebro Delta and harvested it at the end of summer.

With the Rice Planting Festival we want to keep this tradition alive and make known how people worked in the rice fields decades ago: hard, intense work full of sacrifice, which required many days of work to plant the fields of the Delta.
