2024 Rice Planting Festival

Sunday June 2 is our most popular and traditional party.

We have everything ready, one more year, to enjoy a Sunday with the family at the Mas de la Cuixota of the Restauranta l’Estany Casa de Fusta. To remember our ancestors and how, with great effort and dedication, the groups of planters planted rice in every corner of the Ebro Delta and harvested it at the end of summer.

With this tradition, we aim to make known how, a few decades ago, this work was done in the Ebro Delta, how hard it was and the days involved in planting the Delta’s rice paddies.
